Our stay at Last Resort Resort was quite disappointing overall. The location near the falls was beautiful, but the room quality was subpar and the price felt unreasonably high for what we received. The friendly staff made the best of a bad situation, but the lack of cleanliness and outdated amenities left much to be desired.
Rooms
5.0
The room was old and in need of an update, with stained carpets and poorly painted walls. It felt grossly overpriced at over $150 a night.
Service
6.0
The staff was nice and accommodating, but their efforts couldn't make up for the room's issues.
Location

The amenities were lacking—coffee was cold in the lobby and the microwave malfunctioned, leaving us unsatisfied.

My stay at the resort was a mixed bag. On the one hand, it was very close to some beautiful hiking trails and the falls, which made outdoor activities easy to access. However, the experience was marred by the room’s mildew smell and the limited dining options, including a buffet that served lukewarm food. Overall, while the location is perfect for hikers, other aspects left a lot to be desired.

The Dupont Lodge is nestled in the beautiful woodlands near Cumberland Falls, making it a picturesque spot for nature lovers. The staff were very accommodating, especially when we had a special request regarding our room. However, the dining experience left much to be desired with mostly buffet options that weren't very hot. The rooms, while quaint and comfortable, did show signs of age and could use some updating.

I was a bit disappointed during my recent stay. While the location was beautiful and really convenient, the overall experience fell short. The lodge seems to be struggling with disorganization, and the food wasn’t great. I paid a good amount for my stay, which didn’t quite match the value I received, especially with no full-service dining available and issues with room cleanliness.
Rooms
5.0
My room was okay but had no place to eat, which was frustrating as I had to use the bed for my carry-out meal. The cleanliness could have been better, as I returned to find my room not serviced at all during my stay.
Service
5.0
Service was lacking since my room wasn’t cleaned during my stay. It felt like they were cutting corners across the board.
Location
9.0
The location was beautiful and convenient, making it easy to access nearby areas. It's definitely a strong point for the lodge.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were very disappointing. There was only a limited continental breakfast, and the carry-out meals were not well-prepared. I would recommend driving to Corbin for a better meal.
Facilities
5.0
With the restaurant no longer operational, the facilities felt lacking in terms of dining options, which was quite disappointing.
